Dear Al,

I suppose I should be more formal and address you as Mr. Former Vice President or something but if you want to know the truth, I am setting all formalities aside. I'd like to tell you what I really think.

Global warming...

is
a
big
fat
myth.

May 24th, the last week of school, popsicles, snow cones and flip flops, anticipating summer vacation, playing outside...

Not happening.

Mr. Gore, I'd like to invite you over for a bbq. You can sit on my snow-covered patio and fire up my frozen grill and tell me why it is, again, that you think things are getting warmer. 'Cause from what I can tell, they're not. Warmer, that is. See the three inches of snow in my front yard for proof.

Sincerely,
Somebody who never voted for you and certainly never will

P.S. I sort of feel like you guys should pay us back for all of the tax dollars spent on pet projects to fund awareness of, prevention of and general studies on global warming. With said rebate, I'm sure there are a lot of us around here who wouldn't mind a tropical vacation. I'm sure we can find someplace to go that won't be "too hot." Thank you for your time.

not that this helps at all... but Boston is beautiful. :\ sorry. I heard about the snow and almost called you. I figured it was not a topic you wanted to talk about, so I set my phone down. Ill be back in a few days and I'll bring the good weather. Love you!
ps
is ironic even a little that your blog is titled, "fill my life with SUNSHINE?!?" someone is not listening.

ha ha ha. I believe I had a post like this last year. We're wet in Seattle. A little more than usual. But have had some beautiful spring days this year, too. Sorry to hear about your snow. Really sorry, actually. I'm planning on coming to Sandy for a few days at the end of the week (blog conference) and now I see I need to pack some warm clothes... bah.

Hahaha! you crack me up! I can't believe you just got snow when I spent all day getting sunburned in 98 degree weather. But just for the record, 98 degree weather or not, global warming really is a bunch of crap. And so is Al Gore.
