Lost:
One really great purse.
Found:
The need to remember the following:
1. Do not leave your purse in your car
2. Do not leave your car unlocked
3. Do not leave your garage door open at night.
If you see my purse (camel-colored, polka dot interior, exterior zippers, cool assymetrical shape, not quite the one in the picture but pretty close), please return it.
Dear purse thief,
Next time, knock on my door. I will gladly give you all of the cash in my wallet as well as any additional cash around my house and my coin jar if you will please leave my favorite purse, my driver's license, my cafe rio punch card that was NEARLY full, and my Justice J-bucks. Also, I didn't want to have to lose ALL purchasing power while the bank sends out my new cards. I'm kind of annoyed about that. To elliminate that inconvenience, I will even make you a sandwich and send you on your way with a diet coke, some fruit snacks, and a can of pringles. I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!
Misha

Ha Ha! Isn't that the truth? I had my bag stolen once and was more upset about the pictures that I had just taken that were lost than anything else (Yes, my camera was in my bag). I always wonder what I would do if someone entered my house. My dad always said that he would offer them something to eat. I suppose it seems logical? Seriously, just take my money, I don't care...but don't touch that punch card and leave my family alone!
Oh, that so thoroughly sucks! I bet it was the same jerks who stole your TV! ;)
Seriously though... that is sort of scary. Did you lock the door from the garage to your house? We forget to close our garage way too often, and the next night I'm convinced someone is hiding in the closet waiting for us to fall asleep. I don't really know what they would steal, but the thought of strangers entering your home is freaky enough!
I'll be on the lookout!
Misha, I'm almost in tears for you. A PUNCH CARD???? That is really going too far. I (kids) have left the garage open at night before. Don't you wish you could go back and just be a fly on the wall and see them and their nerve? Seriously.
so sorry...
All my sypathies! It is so dissapointing to lose a favorite, and so frustrating to restock your wallet- those purse thiefs must have no idea what they put us through!
Grrr! Thieves - the worst scum of the earth! Karma will find them. How scummy do you have to be to steal a person's purse from their car IN THEIR GARAGE?! Wow. Just wow.
